Cranbrook Express Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Cranbrook, BC.

As a Transport Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of freight, overseeing the performance of delivery drivers, and maintaining the operational excellence of our transportation fleet.

Requirements:

- l Class 5/5F/G Licence
- l College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

- l Ensure all freight is delivered on time
- l Supervise delivery drivers and assign pick-ups
- l Manage the manifest of arrived trailers, including loading and unloading
- l Report damaged freight to the office
- l Ensure proper functioning of all trucks
- l Dispatch delivery drivers and plan routes for special appointment deliveries
- l Track inspection times of trucks, oil changes, and fuel consumptions
- l Provide drivers with necessary supplies such as gloves and handy tools
- l Track upcoming trailers
- l Resolve workplace problems and train new staff
- l Recommend hiring of new staff and suggest improved performance measures
