Job summary
The Ministry of Mental Health and Addiction manages Alberta's recovery-oriented system of mental health and addiction care focused on prevention intervention treatment and recovery.The Compassionate Intervention Commission is an arms-length quasi-judicial public body established by the Compassionate Intervention Act to review applications and conduct hearings respecting applications for individuals to receive mandated substance use and addiction treatment The Commissioner serves as the Chair of the Commission and is responsible for managing leading the operations of the Commission.
As the Executive Assistant reporting directly to the Commissioner you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations of Commissioners Office You will review monitor record Commissioners mail emails maintain calendar schedule appointments make travel arrangements prepare edit executive correspondence act as primary contact with Ministers Deputy Ministers Assistant Deputy Ministers other executive offices use action tracking systems.
