Position OverviewTo provide receptionist and clerical support. Assist individuals with general inquiries by telephone and in person. Provide general clerical support to staff and maintain general operation of the office. May act as initial contact for visitors.
Responsibilities:
Clerical:
- Answers telephone/switchboard and assists by directing calls and inquiries to appropriate staff as required
- Responds to inquiries (by telephone and in person) as required
- Greets and direct visitors at reception as required
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages and distributes mail
- Provides clerical support duties such as filing, scheduling appointments, typing, forms and report preparation
- Processes work orders as required
- Completes data input using various software programs such as Excel, Yardi Property Management, Vadim (iCity)
- Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable as required
- Working knowledge of computer programs and databases used in daily work (May include: SDMT, CBS, Microsoft Office, Vadim (iCity), Yardi Property Management, MTO, OSAP, EI etc.)
General:
- Incumbents must keep uptodate on all relevant legislation, collective bargaining agreements, County Policies and Procedures, etc. ensuring that these are implemented as prescribed
- Incumbents must possess the physical ability to meet the duties and responsibilities of the job description and/or the requirements identified within the position's Physical Demands Analysis

Qualifications:
Minimum Formal Education
- Secondary school completion (Grade 12)
- More than 6 months but less than a year of office experience
