The Opportunity:

The Team Leader Manager is responsible for overseeing the activities of all Appletree Medical Centres within their designated region.

The Team Leader Manager will be the point of contact for their respective centers, and attend weekly meetings with the VP of Operations.

They provide leadership, guidance, and support to the clinic management team, and exceptional customer service and support to our clients and patients.

In addition, they are responsible for managing business metrics and creating plans for development.

The Team Leader Manager will also take part in initiatives and work closely with various departments to strategize and plan for implementation of various projects, as they arise.


Compensation:

$20/hour, plus additional bonuses based on individual services.

What You'll Do:


Schedules & Payroll:


  • Maintain a fulltime schedule consisting of clinic shifts (i.e., MA, programs) and administration shifts (to be coordinated and approved by the direct manager in advance).
  • Prepare and maintain staff schedules two weeks in advance.
  • Approve payroll hours and timeoff requests.
  • Monitor EMR program schedules to ensure optimal schedule utilization.
  • Find staffing coverage for sick calls, coordinate with other team leaders.
  • Review appointments in EMR to ensure they are confirmed and follow up with the appropriate parties as necessary.
  • Execute contingency plan for short notice scheduling changes.
  • As vacancies occur on the staff and management team, it is expected that the TL Manager assist with staff and management coverage based on business needs.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Inventory:


  • Maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Oversee and complete action requests.
  • Oversee and bear responsibility for the maintenance of the high cleanliness, professional and performance standards of the clinic.

  • Lead by example and motivate team to perform to their highest potential.
  • Create task lists for clinic staff.
  • Oversee daytoday teams' operation and performance.
  • Act as a resource to answer nonmedical questions from clinic staff, physicians, and patients.
  • Listen to team members' and physicians' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Assess, coach, and manage job performance of all clinic staff. Complete 3month, yearly evaluations for direct reports.
  • With the direction of the direct manager, VP of Operations, implement procedural changes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Liaise with the VP of Operations and HR department to forecast staffing needs and assist with the hiring process.
  • Act as a Medical Affairs representative and meet with physicians, as required.
  • Act as an HR representative and meet with staff, as required.
  • Responsible for workforce management.
  • Reconcile unbilled visits.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
