Our ideal Junior Quality Assurance Specialist has a creative mindset and the ability to approach a problem inquisitively with a solution orientated approach.

You'll have a meticulous approach to your work and the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems.

What You'll Get To Do:

Perform manual tests with a meticulous attention to detail
Develops test cases from project requirements, business requirements, design documentation, workflow processes, test plans, and coordinate testing across teams as required
Identify and document defects, bugs, errors within the system and work closely with the development team to resolve defects
Create and maintain system documentation
Participate in requirements, design and code reviews
Stage test environments to reproduce customer reported issues
Monitor and add data required for the AI to continue to learn
Review raw AI data to ensure it is behaving as expected
Collaborate with teams to enhance the quality of software delivery
Be a systems expert and a resource for the team to troubleshoot and problem solve on perceived system errors

What We're Looking For:

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years' experience in a similar position
Proven ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems
Understanding and knowledge of relational databases
SQL query or MongoDB query knowledge
Understanding of digital tracking (cookie and pixel tracking) and technical systems considered an asset
Knowledge of various programming languages such as HTML5, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP are considered an asset.
High attention to detail and the ability to think two steps ahead
Ability to focus and get things done while juggling a wide range of tasks
Energetic and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced, sometimes highpressure, environment
