    Job Description

    1. Mechanical Expertise:
      • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of conveyor systems, including belts, rollers, pulleys, motors, and other mechanical components.
      • Conduct thorough assessments of conveyor systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
    2. Electrical/Controls Systems Integration:
      • Understand the interface between electrical/control systems and mechanical conveyor components to ensure seamless operation and integration.
      • Collaborate with electrical engineers and controls specialists to design, implement, and troubleshoot conveyor control systems.
    3. Drawing and 3D Modeling:
      • Utilize drawing and 3D modeling software to create detailed designs of conveyor systems, components, and layouts.
      • Ensure that designs are compatible with product models and plant layouts, optimizing space utilization and workflow efficiency.
    4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
      • Provide support for the maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyor systems, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
      • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and longevity of conveyor systems.
    5. Project Support:
      • Assist in the planning and execution of conveyor-related projects, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of conveyor system upgrades or installations.
    6. Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate documentation of conveyor system designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
      • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project status to stakeholders and management.
    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in conveyor systems design, maintenance, or troubleshooting within the automotive industry.
    3. Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles, with a strong understanding of conveyor system components and functionality.
    4. Experience in electrical/control systems and their interface with mechanical conveyor components.
    5. Proficiency in drawing and 3D modeling software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
    6. Familiarity with product models and plant layouts, with the ability to integrate conveyor system designs into existing facilities.
    7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues effectively.
    8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    9. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of conveyor system operations.
    10. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
