Job description
Walcott Property Management is hiring a maintenance manager to join our maintenance team. You will conduct move in and move out inspects, perform any needed repairs of the rental units. i.e Painting, drywalling, flooring, plumbing, small renovations to mid sized.
To do well in this role you should have previous experience in renovations, be highly skilled with craftmanship and bring a professional and positive work attitude every day.
Maintenance manager Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Performing paint jobs, flooring, drywall repairs, plumbing
- Diagnosing house repairs and maintenance
- Diagnosing appliances but not necessary
Maintenance Worker Requirements:
- Proven maintenance experience.
- Proven renovation experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Related degree from a technical college but not necessary
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Eye for detail.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Strong time management skills.
Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
Masks, gloves and protective eye equipment will be given
