Earthworks Construction - Lowbed Operator

Responsibilities:


  • Loading, securing and transporting various types machinery including, but not limited to dozers, excavators, skid steers, scrapers, etc.
  • Perform trip inspection on equipment operated and loaded, ensuring safety and road worthiness
  • Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours, occupational health and safety
  • Perform pretrip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintain daily logs as required, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork.
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies

Requirements:


  • Minimum valid Class 1 License
  • Lowbed experience
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Must be able to speak and write fluent English

Salary:
$34.00-$40.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Experience:

- lowboy: 3 years (preferred)
