Accounting Coordinator - Toronto, Canada - Shah Canada Group
Description
Responsibilities for Receivable including but not limited to:
- Responsible to keep Accounts Receivable up-to-date and within established credit terms
- Produce statements for clients and provide backup/invoice reprints as required
- Code and post all payments daily
- EFT, WT, etc.
- Process credit memos as per policies/guidelines
- Coordinate with other departments for short payment/returns, pricing, shortages, damages, quality issues, etc.
- Prepare credit request forms as required
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Responsible to maintain accurate customer information (i.e., billing address, telephone number, contact name, etc.), filing and records maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Accounts Receivable Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2 years experience as accounts receivable or payable
- Advanced competency in accounting and business management software such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP would be an asset
- Indepth knowledge of accounts receivable principles
- Keen attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problemsolving skills
