We are growing and are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Welder to join our Team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Determine required equipment and welding method through application of metallurgy, geometry and welding techniques.
    • Perform all work in compliance with established safety procedures and codes.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
    • Repair worn components and equipment attachments.
    • Perform other duties as they arise to provide excellent service.

    Qualifications

    • Good communication skills.
    • Positive attitude.
    • 2nd Year, 3rd Year or Journeyman required.
    • CWB SMAW or FCAW Certified Welder with experience in GMAW.
    • Shop repair work and fabrication, heavy equipment repairs, and modification experience preferred.
    • Experience fitting and laying out assemblies to very tight tolerances and ability to read and build off drawings.
    • Experience operating heavy equipment and forklifts is an asset.

    Compensation

    • $25-$38 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
    • Weekly Averaging Agreement in place – 4 to 10 hour shifts plus overtime depending on workload.
