    Hybrid/Remote with flexible daytime scheduling


    Employer is open to scheduling half-days or full-day shifts between 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday

    WHAT YOU WILL DO


    The Finance Clerk is a detail-oriented individual who plays a supportive role within Manitobah's Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Controller, the successful candidate will require basic accounting knowledge and intermediate computer skills to perform data entry and process transactions. The incumbent will be initiative-taking, able to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues.

    Key responsibilities

    • Assist in processing returns transactions
    • Sort, code and match invoices and receipts to orders, returns, and refunds
    • Administer claims, refunds, adjustments, exchanges, and other transactions data
    • Problem solving by performing research and resolving discrepancies and issues that arise
    • Respond in a timely manner to email, phone, and mail correspondence
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on returns and reconciliationsMaintain, run and analyze monthly and ad hoc reports as required
    • Record and reconcile transactions, verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

    Ideal Experience


    Professional Experience & Education

    • Minimum 1 year of experience working within an accounting or finance department is required
    • Minimum 1 year of experience with bookkeeping software is required; QuickBooks experience is preferred
    • Completion of post secondary certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required
