    About the Role:

    The Scrum Master position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of customer value. The Scrum Mater contributes significantly to their team's success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on predefined business priorities.

    The Team:

    The primary mandate of the Data Ingestion Frameworks is to maintain and enhance various data ingestion services and APIs. This position is specifically with two of the highly visible teams that serve content systems developers.

    Responsibilities and Impact:

    • Act as Servant leader to an Agile team
    • Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from agile best practices and values
    • Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement
    • Guide the Agile team to consistently deliver customer value
    • Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams
    • Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives.
    • Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team.
    • Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency

    Basic Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of Scrum Master or similar experience
    • Experience leading teams as a Scrum Master
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
    • Strong sense of urgency when needed
    • Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks
    • Team-first, servant leader mentality
    • Self-confidence

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certified SAFe SM, Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or CSM
    • Scaled Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban experience
