Always had a knack of cooking from the time of being a short order cook and pizza maker to now making homemade scratch recipes from there recent rented Commercial Kitchen in Birds Hill MB.
to there new retail location located at 250 Marion Street in Winnipeg.
Papa's Bake House is looking for Baristas to join our team We are a small family owned and operated coffee shop in Winnipeg, MB.
We are looking for a high energy individual with a positive attitude, who is willing to work, learn and grow with the company.
Prepare and serve coffee drinks, sandwiches, and other items to customers
- Cleaning duties as assigned
- Interact with customers to greet them and provide them information about our products
- Work at a fast pace in a very busy environment
- Be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team
- Be able to follow the proper use of equipment such as grinders, baristas, blenders, mixers, food processors, and other tools needed for the kitchen
- Prepare food and bake.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment where there is constant interruptions from customers coming in and out of the kitchen
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers. Greet customers with a smile.
Qualifications:
- Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently. French will be an asset but not needed.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to problem solve quickly.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Food handler certification.
- Previous experience as a barista preferred.
