Your Role on our Team:

Reporting to the Vice President IT, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing technology projects, as assigned. The Technical Project Manager proactively shares opportunities to build competitive advantages and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.

The Technical Project Manager provides project management oversight, working closely with the project team(s), to oversee the effective design, configuration, development, data conversion, implementation, and deployment of technology initiatives.


In this role, you will:


  • Build and foster positive relationships across the organization
  • Influence and motivate stakeholders to deliver transformational change encompassing people, process and technology
  • Act as a liaison and manage relationships with technology vendors
  • Accountable for the planning and management of a portfolio of technical projects related to data center, network, infrastructure, telephony
  • Responsible for effort and cost estimates, project, status reporting, budget management, issue resolution, risk management, vendor management
  • Lead and manage crossfunctional teams consisting of internal and external resources
  • Resource forecasting and planning to ensure appropriate allocation of resources based on requirements.
  • Manage communications with all stakeholders and report the progress of the program at regular intervals to Minto Senior Leadership

We would like you to have:

  • Bachelor degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent combination of theory and progressive experience
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts, Windows operating system environment, Active Directory management, databases, security.
  • 6 years + professional experience with a combination of the following:
  • Project Management of Technology Delivery
  • Experience with Project Management tools to aid in Resource Planning & Forecasting
  • Proven project management and organizational skills and the ability to drive projects in a collaborative manner in a matrix environment
  • Proven experience leading business transformation projects encompassing people, process and technology
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Agile Project experience is an asset
