ONE Salon Apprentice/Assistant Needed at BRUSH Salon (Potentially at both locations)

BRUSH Salon, located in two beautiful locations; vibrant Gastown as well as East Vancouver, is on the lookout for a Salon Apprentice/Assistant to join our innovative and welcoming team.

We provide high-quality hair services and believe in fostering a collaborative atmosphere where stylists and clients together craft magical experiences.

Position:
Salon Apprentice/Assistant

Location:
Gastown and East Vancouver, Vancouver

Job Type:
Permanent, Part-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Mix colour formulas and toners as per stylists' instructions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the salon.
Manage salon upkeep tasks including dishes, laundry, and staff room cleaning.
Professionally interact with clients, enhancing their service experience.
Run errands as needed to support salon operations and stylists.

Potential to advance to a Stylist role within the salon.

Requirements:

Completion of a recognized hair program with certification, or currently obtaining certification.
Excellent teamwork skills and ability to thrive in a bustling environment.
Positive, friendly, and proactive attitude.
Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Physically able to perform salon tasks and remain on feet for extended periods.

Compensation:

Hourly wage plus 5% of the stylist's gratuity when working as their assistant.
