Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching imperfections.
• Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment efficiently to achieve desired results.
• Work with various types of paints, stains, and coatings, following product specifications and safety guidelines.
• Protect surrounding areas and furniture from paint splatters or damage during the painting process.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and color charts to achieve desired outcomes.
• Assist in preparing job sites, including covering furniture, removing fixtures, and protecting surfaces from damage.
• Travel within the Simcoe County area to various project sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Some weekends may be required to accommodate project timelines and client needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a painter, with a demonstrated understanding of painting techniques and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and resources effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
• Valid G/G2 license and a clean driving record and vehicle, allowing you to commute to project sites and ensure timely project execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with various painting tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of color theory and the ability to match and blend paint colors.
• Experience in residential and/or commercial painting projects.

$18.00-$25.00 per hour
