_Financial Administrative Assistant _Halton Financial Group (HFG) is located in Burlington. We are a full-service financial planning firm, offering investments, insurance, income tax and estate planning. HFG has worked hard to develop long term relationships with our clients, spanning generations of families.
This is an ideal position for a smart, motivated individual with an investment or insurance background who is passionate about delivering excellent service to clients and enjoys working in a team environment.
Primary responsibilities will include meeting preparation, paperwork, insurance reviews and client care. This is not a remote position.Job responsibilities include:
Client appointment preparation, printing existing client statements, reviewing existing files for updates (i.e., KYC) and assessments for RRSP, RDSP, RESP, TFSA contributions, assisting with the organization of client documentation, online and paper based.
Update and maintain client data base, files, and contact records.
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative position in the financial industry or 2 years experience as an independent advisor
Familiarity with NDEX and National Bank systems is an asset
Basic Income Tax knowledge
LLQP or basic Life and health insurance an asset
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required
Excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently without supervision. A self starter that is willing to jump in and design or learn new processes.
