    The Land Development team at RVA is looking for a Project Manager with 7 or more years of experience to join their team.

    Our ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, is a self-starter with a high sense of responsibility and is motivated to have a successful career within a dynamic group environment.

    Duties:

    As a member of RVA's Land Development team, your role will involve all facets of land development engineering including, preliminary engineering and feasibility studies, detailed design, construction related services, contract administration and business development all related to site plan and subdivision development projects.

    You will assemble and manage project teams to complete project work as well as pursue new project work. In doing so, the role will also include providing technical contributions and direction, providing quality control and quality assurance reviews and participating in the training and development of younger staff within the Land Development team.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) within the province of Ontario.
    • Demonstrates superior English Communication Skills both oral and written.
    • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in land development engineering. Consulting engineering experience preferred.
    • Possess a strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
    • Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development and other skills appropriate to consulting engineering.
    • Proven, advanced level Excel skills and a proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents.
    • Strong and ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
