Responsibilities:

The Division Vice President, Head of Product is primarily responsible for increasing the company's success within our existing, acquired and newly developed product lines.

The primary goal of this role is to lead and facilitate the creation of products that deliver value to both clients and the business.

In this role, you will lead product governance, roadmap, and prioritization of existing products.

In addition, you will lead a team of product owners/managers, develop visions and sustainable strategies in order to build on the success in close cooperation with the Global Leadership team.

As the Head of Product, you will work above all strategically, form a powerful team and ensure the economic success of GBS by constantly developing new innovations, going to new markets and supporting sales as well as profitability in a sustained manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and align the product vision, strategy governance, and roadmap across global business lines
Accountable for the management and efficiency of the entire product portfolio
Work with product owners/managers to ensure local customization of global product offering and prices where relevant
Work with the AJG and GBS technology teams on the delivery of product roadmap and creation of new products
Focused on business line, market, industry, competition and regulatory developments to contribute towards the development of new/enhanced products
Lead product benchmarking and gap reports, in liaison with marketing, global practices and global products
Oversight of current service offerings to individual clients, their profitability and potential enhancements to support business development
Ensure consistent product methodology and procedures are employed across the Gallagher Benefit Services global enterprise
Provide relevant support and interpret client demands into service enhancements and/or new offerings
Lead and develop staff by establishing performance goals to support the team in their professional development
Ensure the team is aligned and executing effectively through regular goal reviews and monitoring of KPIs

Qualifications:

Able to build and sustain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
Able to collaborate with clients, prospects and key stakeholders to identify thought leadership and sales opportunities
Able to manage individual work products associated with key responsibilities
Able to organize and prioritize work with limited supervision and adjust to changing priorities to execute on key business objectives

***Requirements:

BA or BS Degree with relative industry experience
7+ years of product owner experience
7+ years of marketing, sales or product management experience, including progression of leadership roles
7+ years of consulting within the insurance, benefits, HR, and/or financial industry preferred
Strong analytical and communication skills with a desire to work for a fastpaced, large organization
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
