PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Director, Student Awards & Financial Aid, this position acts as a functional specialist in relation to UWinsite Student in Financial Aid.

The purpose of this position is to provide assistance with the configuration and implementations that will continuously improve the stakeholder experience and improve efficiency of operations.

This position will provide support and guidance for their respective functional area, data analysis, reporting and process development and will collaborate with the other functional specialists to improve the overall student experience and institutional requirements.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree or College Diploma in a relevant field as determined by the department
12 years' experience working with databases and the ability to extract data and create reports using query tools such as SQL, BI Publisher, PS Query or equivalent experience as deemed by the Department
Excellent organizational, analytical and decisionmaking skills, including the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times
Demonstrated ability to act with tact and diplomacy
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools and processes
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as, interpersonal skills including the ability to maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
Basic knowledge of system upgrades including development and execution of test scripts
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations.

Salary:
$37.88 per hour
