The Role


We are looking for an experienced clinic manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care to the highest standards with a focus on creating meaningful connections and empowering patients.

As the Clinic Manager you will provide leadership in the delivery of patient-centered services rooted in empathy and interpersonal connection.

This position is based out of our clinic in Victoria and supports our clinics in the province. Some travel may be required.


The Clinic Manager will play a key role in fostering a welcoming clinic environment; primarily accountable and responsible for the day-to-day clinic operations, including leading a collaborative team of Patient Coordinators.


Specific areas of focus include:


  • Patient Experience
  • Model behaviours supporting patient experience, while also taking care to develop the team and maintain the physical space that embodies kindness and support


  • Team Supervision

  • Supervise, lead, train, mentor, coach, develop, and provide balanced feedback to team members as they grow on their own personal and professional journeys


  • Scheduling

  • Coordinate schedules for practitioners and staff to optimize appointment availability and patient flow


  • Office Management

  • From office safety & security, to financial matters and controls, provide knowledge and effective communication with all stakeholders to keep things running smoothly
  • Monitor Patient Referrals & Communications
  • Ensure clear and constant communication with key stakeholders, including management of the referrals process
  • Physician Integration Support supporting resident physician placement, prospective physician shadowing, coordinating onboarding processes and troubleshooting physician billings.


  • Issues Management

  • Act as the escalation point and provide leadership for professional handling of patient and Patient Coordinator team concerns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Health Sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing office operations
  • Knowledge and experience in a clinic environment with both in person and virtual appointments
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional organizational and personal skills, positive and results focused attitude, and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer literacy with experience using an EMR system
  • Ability to address patient concerns and challenges with compassion and resilience
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient informati
