- Develop and maintain key configuration knowledge documents.
- Be a technician as part of a bigger team to configure our software suite to meet our clients' requirements through the utilization of the application's graphical user interface (GUI), with the assistance of MS SQL, and other tools.
- Assist in investigating end-to-end system testing and troubleshooting when client tickets are submitted.
- Help further refine our implementation processes by providing feedback and new ideas.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of IT implementation related experience.
- Must have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Must be able to use SQL to perform complex queries.
- Must have a rudimentary understanding of PowerShell (or equivalent scripting languages).
- The position requires minimal travel for company AGMs or department get togethers. The candidate must have a valid passport and a driver's license and be willing/able to travel within Canada and USA for these company get togethers.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
- Excellent customer service and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new methodologies and systems.
- Must be able to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Must be able to work as a part of a team as well as individually.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL.
- Experience or understanding of .Net programming languages.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Experience with local government utility billing applications or other financial applications.
