Description

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests with enthusiasm while adhering to Serving It Right practices at all times
  • Makes recommendations for guests regarding menu options and promotes beverages and feature menus as per Marriott brand standards
  • Ensures all orders are entered in Micros accurately, noting any substitutions, requests or allergies
  • Performs quality check with guests within 5 minutes of serving food
  • Responsible for cash float, credit and debit handling with the utmost care and integrity
  • Takes orders and payment for guests who opt for takeout
  • Prepares restaurant for subsequent meal service
  • Takes ownership of guest complaints, finding creative ways to resolve guest matters
  • Supports the team and performs other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

:


  • Working knowledge of food, wine, spirits and craft beer.
-
Ability to work mornings, evenings, all-day weekends, mid-day, stat holidays, as needed. Full-time status means open to work any shift.

  • Mature and polished personal presentation.
  • 2 years previous serving or hosting in casual/fine dining establishment.
  • Can work effectively with others in a team.
  • Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have strong initiative.
  • An outgoing, trustworthy personality.
  • Micros or a similar POS System experience a big asset.
  • Organized and can work well under pressure
- "Serving it Right" certification required.

  • Excellent Guest Relations skills.

Pay:
$19.21-$21.00 per hour
