Description

Responsible for safe operation of manufacturing equipment but will also assist with the handling and processing of warehouse work orders, purchase orders, and sales orders; transporting inventory; and maintaining stock in warehouse. Key Responsibilities

Complies with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.

Follows detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.

Reports problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Supervisor.

Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Operates a powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload, and load trucks.

Operates manufacturing machinery and follows safety procedures to eliminate injuries.

Pulls and stages orders for shipment or production use.

Fills and transacts work orders, purchase orders, or sales orders.

Performs cycle counts.

Performs quality checks on stock items to report defects or damage.

Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Tracks material, tool, and inventory needs.

Supports employees to reach goals.

Trains new hires.

Collaborates with supervisors and managers regarding employee performance, workflow, etc.

Manages workflow.

Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback to employee and supervisor.

Assists employees resolve issues and disputes.

Conducts weekly safety meetings.

Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
