RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment; excavator, dozer, backhoe, loader, compactor, and rock truck
  • Follow instructions of Site Superintendents and project guidelines
  • Ensure compliance to WM Safety Standards
  • Mass Excavation and detail are excavating including grading, trenching for pipe
  • Participate in all daily site safety meetings
  • Complete daily equipment checks and daily inspection logs
  • Demonstrate attention to quality and details
  • Be accountable for their actions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 23 years of work experience in the civil industry
  • Must have mainline experience
  • Must be able to fine grade
  • Have experience with GPS Grade Systems
  • Must be a solid communicator
  • Must be comfortable in industrial/civil settings
  • Must be a team player
