We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager at Nobu Hotel Toronto.

In this key leadership role, you will work closely with the management team to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service, hospitality, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including guest service, team supervision, and financial performance.
  • Lead by example in providing exceptional service to guests, anticipating their needs, and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supervise and train the restaurant team, including Captains, Servers, Hosts/Hostesses, and Bussers/Runners, ensuring they adhere to established service standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and frontofhouse operations, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and timing.
  • Work closely with the Guest Experience Manager and monitor restaurant reservations, seating arrangements, and table turnovers to optimize seating capacity and maximize revenue.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock control to ensure sufficient supplies are available for daily operations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to communicate goals, expectations, and updates on policies and procedures.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy, seeking opportunities to exceed guest expectations and foster loyalty.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as payroll processing, scheduling, and reporting, as needed.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a finedining restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service and achieve operational goals.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, service techniques, and industry trends.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
