Matrix Labour Leasing is currently recruiting for a

Red Seal/Journeyperson Carpenter to join the team of a demolition project located in Meadow Lake SK. This project is expected to last 8 to 10 weeks.

This position will offer travel and

LOA:
$55/day LOA, Accommodations paid for, Hourly pay for travel hours

Hourly Wage:
$32.00/hr

Shift is 6 days on and 1 day off (Sundays)

Please note you will be expected to stay in Meadow Lake for the entirety of the project

Skills we are looking for in a

Journeyperson Carpenter:
Ability to

Cut, shape, and join
Look for and fix deficiencies
Building of hoarding and other temporary structures
Checks accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required
Read and understand blueprints for work planning
Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
Acts as a work leader and mentors to apprentice carpenters and other labourers
Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
General site upkeep as needed
Keep up with daily physical demands

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 201
ESC Fall Protection considered an asset
Hold a Red Seal Journeyperson Ticket
Own tools/pouch
