What you will do-


The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring timely ordering, delivery and receipt of inventory to support customer requirements as measured by customer requested dates and same day fill-rates.

You will manage purchase orders from end-to-end, from the time of entry to follow-up/issue resolution with suppliers until a purchase order is invoiced and closed.

You will maintain regular communication and collaboration occur with Demand Planning, Marketing and Surgical Support, Customer Service, Logistics and Distribution teams.

You will work in a fast-paced role with many changing details to stay on top of, assess and keep stakeholders updated on.

You will serve as a contributing member of the Operations team while championing Stryker's Mission and Values.

  • Secure and expedite manufacturing/supplier delivery dates to meet customer requirements or fillrate targets
  • Manage inventory levels for your assigned portfolio(s)
  • Follow up on overdue/outstanding product orders with special emphasis on products that are on backorder with customers. Provide updates on supply chain challenges to marketing, sales support and customer service teams
  • Follow up on invoice issues and invoice holds
  • Report and close out shipping discrepancies with Vendors.
  • Interact with Demand Planning, Logistics, Distribution, Service, Customer Service and Finance on a daytoday basis to optimize supply chain transactions
  • Develop and maintain partnerships/relationships with key suppliers
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager

What you need-

  • University degree required (Business, Supply Chain or related field)
  • 2 years of operations/supply chain experience, required
  • APICS or other CPP "preferred"
  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
