Summary
The Help Desk Support Technician will be the first point of contact for technical support for the external customers of our company.
We are an EMR partner that provide a full suite of physician's IT services to hospitals, IPAs and small and medium sized practices.
100% REMOTE AFTER INITIAL TRAINING**
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level support on computer hardware and software issues on Microsoft platforms.
- Record all calls in the Technology Ticket Management System as per escalation procedures and priority settings and assign to appropriate Technology staff member.
- Handle scheduled software upgrades and patches.
- Perform general administrative duties for department as needed.
- Assist in documenting and communicating user/technical service policies for products supported by the Help Desk.
- Develop reference and training materials and provide enduser training.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Experience within the Information Technology industry in a support capacity.
- A diploma or certificate in a technical related area would be an asset.
- Strong competence in the Microsoft Ecosystem (Office, Remote Desktop, Server, Desktop OS).
- Entry Level Linux/Unix knowledge is a bonus.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
- Highly organized, detailed and multitask oriented, with the ability to balance priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to interact in a professional and friendly manner with end users at all levels within the organization.
- Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills coupled with a willingness to learn.

From $45,000.00 per year
