Duties:

➨ Plans and ensures the coordination of the delivery of services related to buildings and facilities in the premises inventory of Public Service and Procurement Canada.
➨ Manages a portfolio of real property and facilities, in collaboration with other sectors, external clients and partners.
➨ Manages a financial budget.
➨ Ensures projects management, provides strategic advice, leads teams responsible for providing real estate services.
➨ Collaborates with other departments, federal organizations as well as industry and represents the interests of the department and/or client relatively to real property management questions.
➨ Analyzes needs, objectives and data in order to provide recommendations to management or clients.
➨ Develops, verifies and approves submissions, plans and strategies for management of buildings and property as well as financing approval documents within the limits of their financial delegations.
➨ Supervises employees as well as multidisciplinary teams.
➨ Respects Government priorities regarding the environment, health and safety, and stays abreast of trends, novelties and new technologies in the field of real property and facilities to optimize the use of resources and minimize costs.
➨ Negotiates the terms of service agreements, leases and contracts with consultants, contractors and service providers, and manages these agreements; provides advice to solve claims and disputes relating to contracts.
