Who We Are:

Aetna Pest Control is a family operated pest control company and industry leader in termite control, with over 45 years of industry experience in Toronto.

We are an essential service and we are a recession proof industry. As the weather warms up, so do the termites in the neighborhoods we service. As a result, we are currently looking for a Termite Technician/Inspector to join our team.


Termite Pest Control Technician Requirements:

• Experience in pest control or construction considered an asset
• Minimum G2level drivers license an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Be able to perform light physical work
• Positive team player
• No experience in pest control is required, company will provide all training
• Ability to work fulltime, with some overtime as required

Termite Inspector Responsibilities:

• Inspecting interior and periphery of properties in order to identify termite activity and extent of damage
• Using mechanical equipment for treatment purposes
• Instructing clients on how to prevent termite infestations
• Surveying client sites to determine appropriate treatment options
• Ensuring all work is documented and submitted electronically

Ongoing Training

Aside from providing continuous on the job training and development, Aetna encourages all team members to pursue additional company-sponsored certifications and licenses.

These can include but not limited to:
Safety training, structural extermination and other Ontario Pesticide Training and Certifications. Such certifications will enable you to advance to a higher paying position and take on new challenges.

Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
