Class 3 Operator

Atlantic Explosives Limited is currently seeking a self-motivated energetic individual to join our team We are looking for someone who is hard working, reliable and willing to perform a variety of tasks.

Qualification Requirements:

Class 3 Licence (required)
Valid Driver's License
Air brake endorsement
Positive attitude & Commitment to safety
Availability to work flexible hours
Capability of performing physically demanding work
WHMIS / First Aid
Criminal record check & Driver's abstract must be provided upon hiring
Own transportation to and from our Upper Musquodoboit office is required our Head Office is located an hour from Halifax and 45 minutes from Truro
General labour

- must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Working at heights and in confined spaces
Properly maintain equipment and tools
Ensure clean job site

General Duties and Responsibilities

To arrive on time for each scheduled shift
Notification to a supervisor is required if you are not able to make it to work that day.
Complete all paperwork requirements are to be passed in daily at the end of each shift.
Operate truck in safe and secure manner at ALL times.
Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order. Grease weekly.
Report mechanical problems to the mechanic
