Hours of work:
Flexible (therapists book their own visits)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Providing comprehensive SLP services, including formal and informal assessments, direct treatment, and parent consultation
- Completing administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, collecting payment, utilizing SPARK's electronic charting system, and communicating with SPARK's intake coordinator, as required
- Adhering to SPARK's policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology / Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Professional liability insurance
- 1+ years experience working with the pediatric population, preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Takes initiative and works well independently
- Computer proficient and comfortable learning new computer software, as SPARK uses an electronic documentation system.
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening
