Valle Foam, a division of VPC Group Inc., is looking for an experienced
Pour Line Supervisor to support our manufacturing operation in Brampton, ON.
Reports to Technical Manager
Health and Safety

Technical

- Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot technical problems
- Process oriented with a technical aptitude
- Computer savvy must be able to use Microsoft Outlook, experience using ERP system an asset
Communication
- Strong command of the English language (must be able to read, write and speak fluently)
- Ability to present information and discuss alternatives with management
- Ability to engage line workers and provide direction in manner that is understood by different personalities
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct and schedule foam production
- Supervise the set up foam pouring equipment
- Monitor foam production process and ensure smooth operation
- Ensure that foam produced meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Ensure raw materials are received and properly labelled as per WHMIS regulation
- Ensure safe operation of machinery, such as hoists, conveyors and saws
- Prepare and discuss costing, efficiency of chemical usage and reports
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- University degree (Chemical Engineering)
- 35 years of work experience in a technical chemical manufacturing position
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Must be dependable, trustworthy and value accountability
- TDG training an asset
- Must be able to work day shift from 7am 3:30pm, Monday
- Friday.
Job Types:

Salary:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
