THE OPPORTUNITY:

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Supply Control Coordinator, North American Whitewood
to be based out of our corporate office in Vancouver, British Columbia

What You'll Do:

As part of our Supply Control team, you will work closely with our lumber manufacturing operations, logistics team and sales team to ensure production plans, order files, sales allocations and shipments are aligned to achieve key operational and financial results.

This role would be based in our Vancouver Corporate office, working closely with our North American sales team.**:

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage Western's North American Whitewood order file, inventory and shipments;
  • Coordinate and maintain individual mill sales allocations and order files to increase transparency and execution within the supply chain;
  • Manage wood flow, order construction and delivery plan to achieve corporate objectives;
  • Work with the logistics group to determine volume requirements and coordinate volumes from operations and reloads;
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships;
  • Assist mill production coordinators and reload operators with the efficient execution of their order file position;
  • Daily reports (inventory, sales) and others as required; and,
  • Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Education And

Experience

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Logistics/Supply Chain, Wood Products Processing or related field; and,
  • Previous work experience in any of the following areas: production coordination, quality control, logistics, shipping, or sales and customer service.
