Project Lead, Continuing Care Management Compensation Review Project -Part-Time (18 Month Temporary Assignment)


HANS has been engaged by the Department of Seniors and Long-Ter, Care (DSLTC) to conduct a review and refresh of the previously prepared Job Families Model for long term care and home support management and non-union compensation.

HANS is seeking a Project Lead to lead and manage a project team, collaborate with interest holders and oversee the communications and deliverables to DSLTC.


Position Scope:


  • Stand up and manage the project.
  • Lead the project team.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
  • Consistently liaise with DSLTC to ensure alignment of project progress with DSLTC interests and objectives.
  • Effectively collaborate with DSLTC identified interest holders.
  • Communicate project status updates, including progress reports on a regular basis.
  • Lead project meetings, including kickoff meetings, status meetings, and postproject reviews, to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and interest holders.
  • Ensure that project deliverables (including reports) meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, human resources (with a specialty in compensation), communications, public relations, project management, a related field or a combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to meet position requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience effectively leading and managing a team to meet objectives.
  • Background and understanding of the Continuing Care Sector and challenges related to management and nonunion compensation.

  • Facilitation amongst and across varied interest holders
  • Excellent communication skills with a variety of audiences and a variety of methods including formal report writing
  • Experience in MS Office solutions (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
