    Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer to support the design, development, integration, and ongoing maintenance of customized ERP solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with functional consultants, technical architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions across implementation, upgrade, and support initiatives.

    This position requires a hands‑on developer with strong X++ expertise, experience working within Microsoft-recommended development standards, and the ability to contribute across the full application lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions using X++, extensions, and best-practice development patterns
    • Participate in technical design sessions and requirements analysis in collaboration with functional teams
    • Build and maintain SSRS reports and contribute to reporting and automation solutions using Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate)
    • Support system integrations by working with Data Entities, OData services, REST APIs, and Azure-based integration components
    • Perform unit testing and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure solution reliability and performance
    • Assist with production deployments, post-go-live support, and issue resolution
    • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
    • Stay current with Dynamics 365 platform updates and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and processes
    • Share knowledge and promote best practices within the development team

    Required Qualifications

    • 3–5 years of ERP development experience, including at least 2 years with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or AX 2012
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Strong proficiency in X++ and Dynamics 365 development tools
    • Solid understanding of one or more D365 F&O modules, such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Project Operations
    • Experience working with integrations, Data Entities, and the application lifecycle management (ALM) process using Azure DevOps
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft development standards, including extension-based customizations and no over-layering
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Fluency in both English and French is required to collaborate with distributed teams

    Preferred Assets

    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (Core or Developer Associate)
    • Experience with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and/or Power Platform
    • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
    • Experience participating in large-scale ERP implementations or upgrades
