    Tasks/Responsibilities


    The BI Specialist will be responsible for providing internal expertise regarding the business intelligence of the fast-growing company.

    MORE PRECISELY

    • Maximize the potential of data in the company which recently made 2 acquisitions
    • Evaluate the tools currently in place (IBM Cognos TM1, Power Query ETL, JD Edwards from Oracle, etc.)
    • Analyze the possibility of having other new relevant BI tools (Microsoft Power BI or others)
    • Understand the needs of different business lines and optimize the use of data
    • Develop dashboards, generate user friendly reports, and participate in user training
    • Report to the CFO, and work with the IT Manager and an ERP Developer, then if necessary with consultants

    PROFILE

    • 5+ years of experience in BI (Business Intelligence)
    • Professional experience with IBM Cognos
    • Skills in data modeling and BI development (cubes, ETL, reports)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and other relevant BI tools
    • Experience in data warehouse and reporting
    • Mastery of databases and SQL language
    • Knowledge of the ERP JDE solution (JD Edwards from Oracle) asset
    • Good communication and popularization skills of analytical data
    • Ability to anticipate and resolve problems
    • BAC or Master's degree in computer science, or equivalent
    • Bilingualism required (French and English)
