- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on light-duty vehicles, including pickup trucks, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair or replace faulty components as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize vehicle repairs and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- May perform other duties as required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining and repairing light-duty vehicles, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certified Mechanic/Interprovincial Red Seal Certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid class 5 (or better ) driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
