Sierra Helicopters Ltd has an opportunity available for an apprentice AME within our Maintenance Department.This position reports to the Director of Maintenance and is responsible for assisting the AME's in the maintenance to Sierras fleet and customers.
Sierra operates a fleet of turbine powered light & intermediate helicopters from its base in Pitt Meadows, BC.In addition to being a full service charter operator, Sierra provides rotary wing maintenance services to commercial and private operators throughout British Columbia.
Must be an AME graduate from a Transport Canada approved technical school.Ability to refer to and follow technical manuals. As well as read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Diagnostic skills requiring sound knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, aircraft structures, and basic applied mechanics.
Good literacy, numerical and computer skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to travel within Canada.
