Description

A Glimpse of Your Typical Day

As you report to the Sales Director of Transmission Solutions, your main task will be to create competitive bids and negotiate contracts for Transformers and GIS services.

How You Will Drive Results

Establish strong customer relationships, focusing on Transformers midlife extension programs.
Advocate for Monitoring & Diagnostic systems and spare parts.
Take the lead in proposing and developing work scopes for GIS installation and maintenance services.
Interact with Siemens Energy account managers and various departments to devise effective sales strategies for new services.
Maintain Salesforce data quality and handle monthly forecasting.
Adhere to Siemens' Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
Fulfill additional tasks as delegated by superiors.

Your Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
Over 5 years of utility industry experience, particularly in Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS)/GIS/transformer installations.
Previous involvement in GIS and Transformer operations would be beneficial.
Proficiency in estimating services projects and understanding the business landscape.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Readiness to travel frequently (more than 50% of the time).
Team player with a positive mindset.

This position is potentially located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Siemens Energy provides a comprehensive benefits package encompassing health, wellness, paid time off, and holiday compensations. The salary range is $85,000-95,000 CAD, which may vary based on individual qualifications, experience, and business requirements.
