    Salary Range (Commensurate with experience):

    Group 5 $72,046 to $81,873

    Extensive Benefit Package and OMERS Pension Plan

    We are looking for an energetic and organized individual to manage Building Services Legislative Compliance and Access Control position for the London District Catholic School Board. Reporting to the Manager of Custodial Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, updating, tracking and coordinating all administrative duties related to legislative compliance, access control and safety.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Post-secondary education is required. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in a technical background

    Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field

    Familiar with Ministry of Education "Safe Schools" initiatives and implementation

    Understanding of current legislative requirements including lead in water, well water, OHSA and Fire Code, designated substances, technical education

    Experience in administering access control systems

    Experience with facilities management software and record keeping

    Experience liaising with outside agencies including Ministries, building officials, fire departments, police services, laboratories, and consultants

    Experience with emergency planning protocols and best practices

    Able to read blueprint and building design drawings

    Excellent communication, both written and verbal

    Excellent organizational skills, including document management, record keeping, report writing

    Self-motivated with a proven ability to work effectively within a team and independently
