The Home Solutions & Customer Excellence team is the business unit responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of internet, TV, smart security and automation at TELUS.

The HSCE Communications Office supports over 8,000 team members, and is rapidly growing, requiring communications support to facilitate information sharing, strategic programs and change management.


What you'll do


As Communications Specialist, you'll work with our Home Solutions & Customer Excellence communications office to support the execution of communications materials using a variety of mediums (print, visual, video, social media).

You'll also support communications for a number of exciting projects including mergers and acquisitions, organizational change management, and event planning and management.


Accountabilities

  • Supporting the creation of written and visual content
  • Supporting internal requests from across the business unit
  • Developing internal sites for communication sharing that are visually appealing and userfriendly

Qualifications:


What you bring

  • Excellent intrapersonal and communications skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fastpaced environment
  • Keen interest in storytelling with ability to execute visual components
  • Attention to detail and ability to review communications in English and French
  • Ability to adapt to TELUS voice/style; focused on producing highquality, errorfree copy and visual assets
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with ability to learn new software
  • Content writing experience for all media platforms
  • Skilled at fostering relationships across the business
