Entera Utility Contractors is a heavy civil and high voltage construction company that has steadily grown to one of the largest electrical utility contractors in the Greater Toronto Area.

We are currently hiring for an energetic, self-directed person to join our safety team as a Safety Administrator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to day administrative support services for the Safety & Quality Assurance Department.
Conduct New Hire Orientations.
Maintain Safety Management System (SMS) databases, administer sub-contractor programs, support job sites with project safety plans.
Data entry of New Hire Documentation, including entry of Health and Safety Training Records.
Recording and maintenance of the incident statistical data base.
Assist and prepare where required, documentation for pre-qualification submissions.
Coordinate Joint Health and Safety Committee functions at office location and actively participate on the Committee.
Coordinate Health and Safety Training as required.
Assist with the administration of the CVOR management program.
Maintain a current database of Safety Data Sheets.
Produce regular reports as required.
Other administrative duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Post secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety (persuing or completed)
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong ability to multitask
Excellent facilitation skills
