Your Opportunity
As part of our Environmental Services team, the Archaeology group has an opportunity for seasonal Field Labourers /Technicians in our Hamilton, London and Markham, and Waterloo ON offices.
You will be a part of our archaeological field team that will complete field work starting in April, dependent on the weather.
Your Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of licensed archaeologists, the successful applicant(s) will assume responsibility for carrying out Stage 2-4 archaeological field work.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Qualified applicants must have past work experience with physically demanding outdoor labour.
- Applicants must be able to travel within Ontario and able to work outoftown and overnight for short and long durations.
- The ability to carry out strenuous field work is essential.
- A full G driver's license in good standing is preferred, and licensed drivers may be required to drive company vehicles as part of their work.
Education and Experience
Current undergraduate or graduate students in anthropology or archaeology are encouraged to apply, but not a requirement.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
