Clinical Psychologist/Psychological associate - Children, adolescents, and families

As one of the most established and comprehensive psychology practices in Ontario, we offer evidence-based assessment and interventions to individuals and families.

With offices in Brampton and Mississauga, we provide a broad range of services to individuals, private and public institutions, government agencies, and police services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidencebased treatment to children, adolescents, adults (& families).
  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Complete required documentation for third party payers (e.g., WSIB).
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments, develop and implement treatment plans.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent organization, time management, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds is an asset.
  • Experience with webbased video conferencing and telepsychology platforms.
  • Knowledge of case management software for accurate record keeping.
  • Expertise in a variety of therapeutic approaches with solid cognitivebehavioral skills.

Education

  • Current certificate of registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, or eligible for supervised practice.
  • Ph.
D. (or PsyD) or M.A. in Clinical Psychology from a CPA or APA accredited university

FVB offers a range of competitive compensation consistent with your level of credentialing.


_Working Remotely_:

FVB currently operates using a virtual platform due to COVID-19 public health restrictions and College recommendations - except in the case of child assessment.

When normal operations resume, practitioners may opt for virtual and/or in-person delivery of services.
