    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Sainte-Catherine's Fleet and Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of all drivers and ensuring that delivery routes and collection activities are carried out as efficiently as possible. He or she must ensure that all health and safety standards involving transportation activities are met by working collaboratively with various departments. The Coordinator is in charge of organizing all collection activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing top-quality service and finding solutions to various challenges.

    POSITION TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Coordinate the daily schedules for all drivers.

    Ensure that all customers are served according to the planned RoadNet route.

    Hand out service request tickets to all drivers.

    Process driver envelopes and forward all important information to administration.

    Ensure that daily assignments are evenly distributed among all drivers.

    Respond to telephone inquiries from the customer support representative.

    Ensure that all of the work being carried out meets our quality and service standards.

    Schedule and coordinate the appropriate number of staff for the expected volume of work.

    Immediately report any incidents to the manager.

    Receive and enter orders into the system.

    Ensure that all service calls are efficiently dispatched to drivers, if applicable (unscheduled calls).

    Manage day-to-day operations.

    Replace any team members that are on vacation.

    Other duties as required

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Post-secondary education.

    Bilingual, oral and written (French and English).

    2 to 4 years of experience in distribution/logistics/dispatching.

    Strong oral and written communication skills.

    Customer-focused.

    Strong interpersonal skills and works well in a team.

    Ability to work under pressure, multitask and establish priorities.

    High level of computer competency including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle, PeopleNet and RoadNet (an asset).
