Machine Operator Job Description
Our Machine Operators are critical to ensuring safety, quality and continuous improvement within Poly-Nova Technologies.
We are currently looking for full-time (Monday

Friday) Machine Operators on Day shift and Afternoon shift.

Duties Include:

Load press/machine with correct rubber
Operate injection molding machines and presses
Closely inspect parts within cycle time by following quality inspection instructions and alerts
Complete shift paperwork: machine logs, scrap sheets, production reports, etc. and maintain accurate records related to activity of shift
Package finished parts as per required quantity; label and prepare for shipping, place on skid
Notify Supervisor or Lead Hand of any issues or unusual amounts of scrap, including new/unusual defects
Maintain traceability and identification of parts by confirming correct labels are placed on boxes
Ensure fabric is pulled and sprues are inspected for mold foul, or other rubber related issues
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
General housekeeping: sweeping area, removing buildup of rubber and parts spillage in work area
Other Duties as required

Qualifications/ Requirements/ Competencies

High School (Secondary School) diploma
1+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, short correspondance and memorandums
Good verbal and written communication skills
Competent to operate press equipment: automated and manual
