    The Summer Student, Assistant Project Supervisor position at the City of Cornwall is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience and build their skills in construction management.     About The Job



    • You will be responsible for providing quality assurance duties during the construction of various infrastructure projects such as storm sewer, sanitary sewer and watermain installations asphalt paving concrete works curbs sidewalks watermain lining full road reconstruction etc

    • Maintain detailed accurate records on all aspects including inspections tests measurements ensure compliance with regulations specifications guidelines 

    • Perform inspections monitoring tasks using specialized equipment interpret technical data reports assess performance identify areas improvement recommendations supply necessary supporting documentation provide written analysis regular reporting progress status checklists enhancements completion certificate report any issues discrepancies needed correction update procedures accordingly 

    • To maintain excellent public relations establish effective relationships communicate effectively interact daily local government stakeholders manage workload prioritise delegate supervise coordinate track initiate observe monitor oversee processes innovate drive efficiency consistency productivity excellence authority represented corporation committees internal external forums coordination share thoughts ideas participating diverse groups around sector representing address multi stakeholder group​s
