Talent Acquisition Manager
Are you passionate about mental health, the outdoors and education?


The Opportunity:


The
Talent Acquisition Manager reports directly to the Director of People and Culture and is responsible for managing full cycle recruitment for various positions at Take a Hike.

This includes posting, sourcing, pre-screening, checking references, drafting offer letters, and leading the onboarding process.

As a member of the operations team, we are looking for someone who is well organized, has excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for finding the right fit.


Responsibilities:


Full cycle recruitment (75%) and HR Generalist (25%)

  • Updating and creating job descriptions and job postings
  • Posting new opportunities on various job boards and platforms
  • Schedule and participate in interviews
  • Create and update interview questions
  • Digital documentation management
  • Perform reference checks
  • Draft offer letters
  • Prepare and deliver new hire material
  • Track and proved recruitment metrics and trends
  • Provide feedback on ways to improve efficiency and improve recruitment processes

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • 35 years of recruitment and HR experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be a self starter with amazing problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Demonstrated skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Experience project managing HR initiatives/projects
  • Working towards a CPHR designation is an asset

$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
